Media personality D.F Kariyakarwana passes away

Renowned media personality D.F Kariyakarwana has passes away at the age of 94 years

yesterday.It is learnt that until his death he has been writing to the media and as a media advisor had been pointing out errors and was responsible to remedy such mistakes made.

He is a born catholic who had on a particular Vesak day had started to become a staunch Buddhist and continued to be a Buddhist.

At his own wish and discretion he had requested to have his ‘pansakula’ with the participation of Buddhist Monks.He also had requested his remains be donated to the private medical College in Malabe. Accordingly his Children grand children and great grand children had acceded to his requests.These were fulfilled last evening.
