Wimal’s party to be chased away from UPFA - Janaka Bandara
National Freedom Front party and many other parties and the main SLFP have joined together
to form the United People’s Freedom Alliance. The leader of the National Freedom Front Wimal Weerawansa now has other intentions to break the solidarity of the SLFP.As many know his party with MEP, NLF and the new party New Hela Urumaya are attempting to call in former president Mahinda Rajapaksa to come back to politics and to make him prime minister.
It is obvious that former Minister Wimal Weerawansa is trying to break the unity of the SLFP by making the members of the SLFP to join in his rallies. This is a challenge to the SLFP and its leadership. The members are not abiding to the instructions of the central committee of the party and they too join in these rallies defying logic.
In this context the national organizer of the SLFP Minister of the present national government Janaka Bandara Tennakoon is to decide with the central committee of the SLFP whether Wimal Weerawansa’s party NFF is to be excluded from the united National Freedom Alliance. This decision would be taken very soon perhaps in the next few days he has added.
