The Member of Parliament for Hambantota district Namal Rajapaksa addressing a media briefing had
conveyed that there have been incorrect reports in the media that his brother Yoshitha Rajapaksa owns the CSN television channel. He refuted this information and had said that none in the Rajapaksa family is even in its director board. Hence about its closure has to be inquired from the directors of CSN. However they are only viewers and keen followers of the channel he had added.
