The best three at GCE (Ord Level) 2014 found - 1st Nalanda,

2nd Holy Cross Gampaha,

3rd Visakha Vidyalaya

The officials of the department of

examinations,Colombo has announced the most successful students at the GCE (Ordinary Level) 2014 examination. Accordingly the 1st had been from Nalanda College, Colombo,2nd from Holy Cross College Gampaha. While there had been three students who had tied and come to position of 3rd  from Visakha Vidyalaya,Ratnawali Balika Vidyalaya,Gampaha and from Mahamaya Girl’s school Kandy. The names of the students and their respective schools who obtained the first six places are appended below:

1. L.Tharindu Nirmal Wickremasinghe  of Nalanda College,Colombo.
2. W.A.Sandani Navanjana Jayawardena of Holy Cross College,Gampaha
3. D.S.C.Amashie Nivarthana of Visakha Vidyalaya,Colombo 04
3. S.A.Nuwani Sethsarani of Ratnavali Balika Vidyalaya,Gampaha
3. Garuni Hansapani Abeysinghe of Maha Maya Girl’s school,Kandy
4. Devuni Ruwanthi Hemasinghe of Visakha Vidyalaya,Colombo 04
5. R.W.Divyanjali Uththara Rajapaksa of Devi Balika Vidyalaya,Colombo 08.

For 6th place too three students marks had tied. They are:

6. Dilini Sandunika Palihakkara of Sujatha Vidyalaya,Colombo
6. Anjana Ruchiranga Abayadeepa Madurasinghe of Morawaka Keerthi Abeywickrema
