that's why I resigned from Media Spokesman post - Ajith Rohana

It is only just a few days since Mr. Ajith Rohana who created a tremendous talk in the country as the Police Media

Spokesman was transferred to a different post and another person has been appointed to that position. Though rumours earlier spread around that this change took place from the side of the government this change actually has resulted on the request of the former Police Media Spokesman himself.

Police Superintendent, Attorney-at-Law Ajith Rohana took over duties as the Senior Police Superintendent in charge of Colombo Division yesterday and on that occasion explained reasons as to why he resigned from his previous position and that the cause was his sick condition due to which he relinquished his position of Police Media Spokesman and that after informing about it to the Inspector General of Police he had assumed duties in his new position.
