I only played a joke - Hirunika

Provincial council member Hirunika Premachandra who made a public statement about a love affair across her Facebook account sometime back, after this piece of news

was broadcast across the websites, apparently having been embarassed, it has been removed and remarks that she is further living a solitary life and that it was for fun that she had said that as a joke.

Though various news circulated in the past that Namal Rajapaksa and Randima Gamage had been Hirunika's lovers, she had rejected all that. However, when her father Bharatha Lakhman Premachandra was subjected to unexpected assasination, at a time when she was addressing the media by facing Independent Television Networks camera in an agitated mood made a request not to conjugate names of others with her. But as time passed, as her political activities increased she had told the newspapers that that connection went on the rocks; however she had declined to introduce her new lover who is hovering around her these days.

Though her secret was expressed across the Facebook with glee, maybe because she had received an unexpected response to it, it came to be known that within the space of a few hours she had taken steps to remove it from
