A postal employee nabbed for sending abusive SMS’s to ladies scattered in several regions

A resident of Katupotha,a casual employee

attached to the  Katupotha post office has been arrested by the Police following several complaints received by them lodged by ladies living in various regions of the country who have received abusive SMS’s and subjected to harassment.

The Police had conducted investigations and were able to bring justice to those affected and were able to arrest the culprit, a resident of Nelum Kanuwa,Katupotha,who is a casual postal employee . When he was arrested the Police were able to take into custody 03 mobile phones, 04 Sim cards a National Identity Card of another party had in his possession. A case had been filed in the Gampaha Magistrate courts to be called on 05-03-2015.

The Colombo Western Crime Division had conducted investigations in this regard.
