Former Mervin Silva who joined in a dialogue in a programme conducted over Shri TV recently

exposed several hidden information relating to the last regime. Mervin who filed accusations against Basil and Gotabhaya and the Criminal Investigation Department speaks about further matters. Apart from this, he expressed opinions about how underground leaders were murdered by using white vans and pertaining to the Welikada incident which information he had not revealed before.

"Gatabhaya is the Father of the White Van Culture. Nineteen who were suspects of drugs were killed. The last regime  ... took then away and murdered them ... by white vans. I don't know much about the Welikada Prison incident. They can't go there without orders from the Defence Minister.
