Minister Janaka bursts into tears while speaking

Member of Parliament Janaka Bandara Tennakoon spoke at a meeting held yesterday about Sri Lanka Freedom Party, sobbing.



What he said was that there are problems. He also said that he would not abandon the Party. He addressed the audience with tears in his eyes and at one moment he paused for a few minutes, unable to speak.

This is how he expressed his ideas: "I am a pure SLFP man. I told the President about the spiteful instances I had to face. I told Namal Putha at Dambulla itself. Nobody took notice of what I said. They didn't believe about what I said about the tragedy to the Party we ... my father (T.B. Tennakoon) made.

SLFP has come under the arm of Ethanol and drug-addicts. I don't like to see SLFP being dominated by others".
