The Common Candidate Group is like ....'the dog without the tail' -- Minister Bandula

Minister of Education, Bandula Gunawardena who interpreted the Common Candidate Group of people for Presidentship as a crowd of people as an example happened to quote the story of the dog who has no tail.


"There is a saying in our villages .... that the dog who has no tail cannot love. It is the dog which is close to man no. So, when a female dog is seen around the place,the dog who has its tail well .... begins to wag it at a rate! When the dog who hasn't the tail sees someone like that, can say only 'hurg .... hurg'. .... but can't make love. Just as much as the dog without the tail can't make love .... this group of the Common Candidate can't love the country. They don't have sensitive nerves of love".
