Minister Maithripala responds to Common Candidate rumours

Rumours that Minister Maithripala is going to be Common Candidate ....  by leaving Government

A rumour that Minister Maithripala Sirisena, a stalwart of the Government is going to change his Party is spreading around these days. Rumours have circulated that he would be relinquishing his Ministerial Post and would even leave the Sandanaya; thus creating a strong challenge to President Mahinda. It was also understood that he has already shifted his household effects in his official residence.

A newspaper contacted him in order to verify about this and he had answered them only with a smile. Since he had tried to evade replying the Daily Lankadeepa newspaper and had disliked answering the questions posed suspicion about the rumours had aggravated. The questions asked by the newspaper are as follows:

* Are the rumours that have circulated that you are going to leave the Government .... true?
  Rumours of course are circulating.

* There's news that you would be leaving the position of Minister of Health?
  Huh .... huh! (smile)

* News that household effects in the official residence too are being shifted?
  Huh .... huh! (smile)

* There's news that you would be a Common Candidate?
  Huh .... huh! .... rumours of course are circulating.
  (So saying .... the Minister got into the vehicle and flew away)
