Lottery winner's death in Galgamuwa

Corpse of 38 year old youth who won lottery of two and a half crores .....  inside well!

Police investigations have commenced about an unanticipated death of a youth in Wetakuluwagama area in Galgamuwa who was the recipient of a lottery win of two and a half crores.   
The deceased Sunil is a person of 38 years and a father of one child. Some months previously he had spent lakhs of his wealth after winning the lottery and his life had drastically changed, it is learned. He is supposed to have spent his wealth excessively and instead of building up a reserve or of saving up any money, he had spent his money on drinking with his friends.   

In the meantime his wife had deserted him, taking away the child with her. Sunil who became further addicted to drinks had become a sort of drunkard throughout the day.

It is understood that he had fallen into a well around 10 in the night yesterday. It is however not clear whether he had fallen into this well or he had been pushed into it. The police had found his body inside this well. Police have now launched an inquiry into Sunil's death.

It is learned that this youth had been drinking in the company of several friends of his last night and after squandering all the money he got from the lottery, he had ultimately become a debtor too.

Relatives of the deceased have mentioned that his death is suspicious to them.

The police had to eject all water from the well concerned to bring out the dead body.
