Businessman who set fire to shop .... on the pretense of Beruwala clash sniffed by police dog

News is reported of a case of a businessman who was caught red-handed when trying to set fire to his own business place by his ownself and thus claim insurance compensation by making use of a racial atmosphere which sprang up sometime ago in Beruwala.
This suspicion has cropped up across police dog Grero. Accordingly, the police suspect that the fire which broke out in a storehouse at Ambepitiya Junction in Beruwala the day-before-night when a petrol bomb exploded was not actually a  subversive action but a case of setting fire on a planned basis.

This shop which belonged to a Sinhala businessman was given on lease to a Muslim businessman and the police arrived and conducted investigations on the information conveyed day-before-night at about 10.30 in the night by the Muslim businessman Mr. Mohammed Siddeek Mohammed Ali who was running this shop .... that it was on fire.

The police dog Grero who was sent on inspection after its duties went and stopped near the complainant businessman himself. There were only newspapers and cardboard stored at the lace where the fire broke out and items of value were in the minimum.

Kalutara Police say that they are conducting investigations to ascertain whether the shop had caught fire on its own or was set fire to because a suspicion has risen regarding the fire as well as the complaint itself for the reason that the police dog stopped near the complainant.
