Sri Lankan religious riots reports in Al Jazeera

Matters have been distorted and reported across popular media Al-Jazeera channel pointing out certain information that Sri Lanka is a nation who has established a Sinhala-Buddhist oriented authority and that people of other races as well as those professing other faiths are prevented from living in peace.


They express points that the recent incident of the Aluthgama anti-Muslim protest is only one of a series of such a process. They further report about an anti-Christian attack last January on a Catholic church in Sri Lanka.

Even the Army Media Spokesman mentioned that the Al-Jazeera TV channel had wanted to launch such a mud-slinging campaign in order to build a protest across Geneva Human Rights Commission.

They have coined new stories for the purpose of  drawing more attention of the international community at a time when in Aluthgama area or other areas an attack on a Christian religious location had not been reported for a considerable length of time. The Army Spokesman point out that collaborators of international powers who are against the nation have exaggerated even a minor incident taking place within the country by gathering false information which happens to be the objective of the mud-slinging campaign with the motive of destroying the massive development process which has been implemented towards peace.

He further reiterates that by this false information broadcast or published across Al-Jazeera TV and a number of other web sites, the common enemy of this country, the international powers are keeping their eyes open to knock off Sri Lanka at any moment and the activities they are in the process of launching in order to accommodate their objectives has become a big challenge to this country.
