Ranil's US lecture and YouTube Hits

Only 5 attended my lecture ....  but a success because there were 8000 online-- Ranil

Mr. Ranil Wickramasingha stated today that when he went on a tour to a university in America some days back he was expected to teach about the topic 'The Indian Ocean Zone' and that he focused attention on security, terrorism, economy and about developing relationships in the Zone.


The Leader of the Opposition mentioned that there would not be a large audience and because of that reason such an audience was not present at his lecture and that 5 were present on that occasion.

However, he said that he was informed that according to data analysis of that university, if a minimum number of 1000 individuals watched a lecture conducted in that university via YouTube, it was considered a successful presentation. As such, he said that his lecture was successful with 8000 people having watched it.
