Popular singer Nirosha Virajini gave a very special gift to Yani when she met this world renown musician who came to Sri Lanka recently. We asked her what it was.*Hello .... this is from Gossip Lanka. We heard that Nirosha gave a special gift to Yani recently. Actually what did you give?
Aney .... that was a small gift.

Yani is one of the musicians I like best. So I thought of giving a present that would really be a souvenir. Because of that I gave him
a souvenir of a wooden tusker with two tusks to remind him of and feel of our nation.
*OK .... good .... what are you going to do in the future?
It's work on my music class. I did music for a film also. I'll tell details about it in a few days' time.
*Then are you hoping to live all alone in your married life?
It's like this .... I am not going to think about something like marriage again. Because I don't have a time or opportunity for that now. I am thinking of doing something productive now. I am not thinking of anything about these things. For the present .... it's good like this.

*Iraj .... this is Gossip Lanka.What is this talk that is going round about this sweet gem?That's my latest video. What I wanted was to do a different kind of video .... because in videos produced so far, boys cry .... try to die. So I thought of doing a video where people can dance and laugh.
*What is this speciality?
When a group of boys go on a trip for the sake of relaxation .... there are some scenes as to what happens when they meet a bunch of girls.
*In which location did you do the shooting? About how much did it cost?
It was in Ella area that we did the shooting. The expenditure .... m .... m .... the whole crowd involved with me in Iraj Production. So it was the expenditure for them.
*Now are you doing any promotions?
This video will not be publicized through the media because a large sum of money is needed to show it. So we are thinking of publicizing the video through the internet and send it across to the public. Even for the video Manamali there were hits for about 18 lakhs. I think that it's enough.

Two popular characters who appear in commercials too these days frequently are supposed to be going to see the kangaroos. To ask about this, we got in touch with Gaminda Priya Viraj alias Podi Malli.*Hello .... this is from Gossip Lanka .... Gaminda, what is this talk about going to see kangaroos?
Ah yes .... yes .... we are going to Australia on the morning of May 8th. First of all we'll be going to Melbourne and then to Canberra. We were asked to come to New Zealand also. We still haven't finalized it.
*Now .... for what are you going there?
It's like this. This is different. In Sri Lanka we are doing a dialogue of 5 - 10 minutes accompanied by a drama. What happens here is that we'll be doing a Talk Show. Straight away it's a two-hour thing .... but in the process we'll be taking a break.
*Now when we say Podi Malli, Chuti Malli .... it is advertisements all along. Do you want to do commercials all along?
Yes, yes .... this is our business. We are invited for tele-dramas also, to act in. But among those what comes foremost is advertisements. But there is some hope like this. Now from about 2 years we have been thinking of doing a film. We'll put our hands into that also.
*Is it both of you who are going to act in it?
No .... no .... we have some popular characters in mind. We'll be starting with them and some others.
