A rumour spread around sometime ago that popular actress Duleeka Marapona who acts as Aaththamma is going to wed. It was also known that the marriage was to another stage and tele-actor Sujeewa Priyalal. But Duleeka hid further facts about the truth of this story. We got the information by speaking to herself.

*Hello .... this is from Gossip Lanka .... is it true that you got married?
 'Kawda appa' telling these lies? All lies malli .... there are a few more days.

*Now .... whom are you going to marry?
 I can't reveal who it is .... right now.

*There was a talk that you had finished registering your marriage.
 It's this no malli .... it's true that we went to Dalada Maligawa last year and finished the necessary customs. But I didn't want to tell anybody about it. That happened in secret.

*Then when is Duleeka going to marry in public?
 That'll happen in the month of August during the two days of 12th and 13th.

*What's the story of those two days?
 My wedding functions should take place during the time a drama is in progress on a drama stage.

*Does that mean a fiction or a stage scene?
 No ....no .... the genuine marriage is going to be performed that way.

*What's that play?
 'Lorenze's Bride' is its name. It is a stage show that is combined with my life. I'll be marrying on the day that play will be shown. On that day .... I'll be marrying Lorenz. He's an Engineer in that role.

*Then the wedding hall .... the visitors?
 Lionel Wendt will be the hall. Anyone who likes the wedding can buy tickets and come in. I always spend for what is necessary. No show-off. I'll invite those who were always close to us. But anybody can come to our wedding. It's an open invitation.
