The final results of the Provincial Council elections which was conducted yesterday (Mar 30) has been released. As such,
the UPFA has been successful in claiming a victory in the Western and Southern PC elections. While 56 seats have been won by the existing Party at the Western PC, 45 seats have been won by the UNP and the Southern PC has got 33 seats for the government while the Opposition won 22 seats.
