Si Lanka was able to trounce New Zealand at the World Cup T 20 cricket match which concluded today (Apr 1) in BanglaDesh. This win  is a decisive opportunity for Sri Lanka to enter the semi Finals. However,


if they were beaten by New Zealand they would have had to return home. Sri Lanka was successful in achieving a difficult target, accepting the challenge given to them.

Sri Lanka who batted first managed to get a total of 119 runs. Though this was not a big total, Sri Lanka made New Zealand find that target a difficult one because of Rangana Herath's clever spell of 5 wickets for just 3 runs.
