Hoodwinks cashier and whisks away money

These days robbers have got accustomed to using creative strategies to rob money. Two persons who stepped into a petrol shed yesterday (Apr 1) on the pretence of changing cash notes have carried out a robbery in an uncanny manner.

Two foreign nationals who came into a petrol shed in Akuressa last evening have on the pretence of changing Rs. 2000 cash notes from the cashier have got into conversation with the cashier there, involving him in a complex situation over a transaction of changing the money and in the end had duped the cashier fora sum of Rs. 22000 and vanished from there. One of the suspects has been clever enough to lead the attention of others astray in the office when the cheating process was in operation.

What happened to the cashier was that he could not understand that he did not properly realise that a fraud has taken place and after the 2 suspects left the premises when he started counting the money he found that he had gone wrong.

The 2 foreign suspects have still not been identified by the police. The police assume that the suspects are either Pakistani of Turk nationals, according to their looks.
