Popular actress Himali Sayurangi is hoping to once again come back into acting after the birth of her first child. We asked Himali about it.
*Hello .... this is GossipLanka .... Himali, how is the baby now ....?
 The baby is now 7 months .... she's a little bit naughty now.

*We heard that you got a baby girl .... what's the name that you have given her?
 Wanuji Senalya .... it's meaning is .... the person in charge of the army.

*Is the news that you're coming back into acting .... true?
 Now I am doing a little bit of work in a drama in Gampaha area. In about a month's time the work will be more.I have got an invitation .... for a film. Whatever it is .... I'll be going for work that finishes in one day.

*Then what about baby's work?
 She'll be looked after by my mother and Asanka's mother. Now she's started eating also.

Some days back news spread around that actor Janith Wickramage is to come into politics. We have received an e-mail to this effect. Is this a rumour or some publicity stunt to be publicized among the public? We called Janith on his phone and checked about it.
*Hello .... this is from GossipLanka .... what's this talk that you're getting into politics these days?
 Actually I am hoping to tell all the media about it and then reveal it on a big stage .... definitely I am going to tell this on May 25th.

*Are you really going to come into politics or is it some other story?
 It's like this ....some strong characters in the political field has made invitations. I also was thinking from sometime back to become a Minister. So .... now the time is ripe for it.

*What is this talk about suddenly becoming a Minister?
 Yes .... yes,from April 28th everywhere a poster campaign is going to come up. Talk about this a little more and see.

There was a story about actress Kanchana Mendis saying that her husband who is abroad .... a 'kabaraya' .... which was heard in the recent past. We then directly asked Kanchana about this.

*Hello .... this is from GossipLanka, Kanchana .... what is this story that you have said that your husband is a 'kabaraya?'
 Aney .... this misunderstanding is circulating everywhere. I said that for a different intention.

*What is that intention?
 There is a programme called Copy Chat no.... there was a segment in it to speak for 2 minutes using a substitute. It was at that time that I was told totell the word 'kabaraya' instead of my husband's name. That was only a little bit of a funny joke.

*Then who's this 'kabaraya?'
 Who else is it .... other than my Roshan!

*Isn't it for you that a story was woven that you have a skype husband?
 Yes .... he's abroad no.... so we maintain our connection through skype technology.

*We heard a story that you are to go abroad.
 Roshan will be coming to Sri Lanka towards the beginning of May. After he comes .... I also have an idea of making a trip round London with the two kids about May 15th.
