When talking about elections, some slimy talk about computer 'jilmart' too emerges. The Hon. President spoke about elections and computer 'jilmart' on the occasion when he was addressing the public at the opening of the election office of Hambantota District. Extracts of the speech is as follows:

                                                   "Those of the Opposition say, 'Why do we want to win elections? What we want is an international investigation'. We are supposed to be  putting 'jilmart'. The UNPers are saying , 'there is no use of voting ... there is jilmart no!' If I am putting 'jilmart' why should I come for meetings like this? ... There is no use no ..... but they are thinking that I still have 'jilmart' up my sleeve!"
