Buddha's white van

 The reason why Lord Buddha did not bring a white van .... for Devadatta

Neluwakande Viharavasi Gnanananda Thero of Canberra, Australia who was making a sermon for Poya Day today (May 14) engaged in an analysis on power-craving stated that the present-day politicians and their children can take an example from the Buddha.

He spoke about how messages were sent inviting Ajasaththa or Kosol who showed so much animosity to the Buddha in order to bring such acts under control and though it was possible to make them disappear by using white chariots akin to white vans, it was not so done.
