Sri Lankan mother in London .....
kills her two children ....and commits suicide
The dead bodies of a Sri Lankan lady and two children were found last evening (Jan 10) at about 5.30 by the husband in a flat in the city of London.
The husband who was an Accountant by profession told police that his deceased wife who was suffering from a mental condition may have killed the 5 year old and 7 months old child and later committed suicide herself.
The 33 year old wife of a Sri Lankan Accountant and his children were living in Brent in North London on the first floor of a flat where the inhabitants were of a mixed community.
Shakthivel Wageeswaran (36) the Sri Lankan Tamil Accountant was born in Sri Lanka and had migrated to England 10 years before this during the civil war in his motherland and had been living in England since then. He had followed a course of studies at a university in South London and during the past 3 years had been managing a private institute of Accountants. It had been about an year since he had come into occupation of the house where this tragedy took place. It is understood that Jeyawani, the wife of Shakthivel had been under treatment because of a mental depression for a period of time.
The deceased had been deprived of a child in the year 2011 and the child born subsequently too she had murdered as a result of her mental condition. On this occasion she had killed her other two children too.
It has been confirmed by the police that the deceased has been under treatment for a mental condition,on investigations conducted so far.
The Scotland Yard Police are of the view that there are no suspects associated with this incident.
