Ginger speaks about her nomination

Singer Judith White alias Ginger had attended the interview last week (Jan 20) with the objective of competing for the provincial council elections on the UNFP ticket hopes to nominate the Kolonnawa seat this time. On being contacted by Gossip Lanka about Ginger coming into politics said that as soon as she gets the ticket, the jockey is ready to take off.  

This is her response to the questions posed to her:
 *At what time did you go for the interview yesterday?
 At about 4 in the evening.
 *Did you check for any auspicious time?
  Ah .... no (smiling)
  *Will you be chosen for the nomination?
 Yes ... yes ... why not?
*Are you really sure?
 Sure ... sure ... absolutely sure.
*How can you say for sure?      
 It's like this. I know Minister Anura, Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya and Chief Minister Shashindra Rajapaksha very well. I sang at their political campaigns and have given them a wonderful support ... therefore I also will be done some justice. Anyway, there's a good response by many people my coming into politics. I am a person who always work straight .... as such, everybody will help me.
*From where do you hope to contest?
I ... mm .... from Kolonnawa.
 *Ruwanthi and Hirunika are contesting from Kolonnawa area .... so Kolonnawa will become a paradise of stars.
 Defi .... malli ... Kolonnawa has always been a kingdom of stars.
*Who is it that invited you to come into politics?
 Member of parliament, Dumminda Silva
*Then is it he who is investing?
No ... not so much that way ... there are a lot of friends who are always with me ..no. They said they'll help me.
 *Will you have a chance of winning? 
 Sure ... sure ... see how the jockey is going to run once the ticket is given!
