Venezuela beauty queen murdered

Ex-beauty queen of Venezuela 2004,Monica Pear and her husband, a British national had been shot dead by robbers. As a result of the shooting, their 5 year old daughter too had received injuries on her leg.

The husband and wife had faced this tragedy on
Monday night when the two of them had been travelling in their motor car. It was reported that the condition of their daughter who is undergoing treatment at a hospital is out of danger. The Venezuelan police suspect that a gang of robbers are behind this murder.

The car in which the couple had been travelling from the city of Merida to the capital of Caracas had faced a technical problem and they were involved in shifting the car to another location when the gang had approached them and ordered them to stop the vehicle.

The three of them who had got confused at that moment had quickly crept into the vehicle and it was at that moment the robbers had shot at Monica,her husband and their daughter. Monica and her husband had succumbed to their injuries on the spot. Monica who donned the crown as the beauty queen of Venezuela was 29 years old at the time of her death while her husband Thomas Berry was 39 years of of age.
