Girl at Vishwa's wedding kisses President

While the wedding of popular actor Vishwa Kodikkara and Erandathi took place yesterday (Dec 5) at Cinnamon Grand Lake Side Hotel, Hon. President Mahinda Rajapaksha appeared as a witness and it was seen that the President took interest in spending the time there for sometime.

In the meantime a cute little girl was among the relations got close to the President and the latter had a desire to fondle this little girl for a moment. The crowd around the place was looking at this sight saw the President taking the girl into his arms, when without any fear or backwardness the girl did not forget to give the President a kiss.

This incident was published in some newspapers today (Dec 6); but according to the Dinamina newspaper the child had so given a kiss to the President because he had been able to win over the motherland.

The verse published in the Dinamina newspaper about it  is as follows:
                              "Mawbima dina dunnata demi theggak
                                Janapathi maamata doogen haaddak"
