     The Most Popular Actress Award was won by Dinakshi Priyasad while the Most Popular Actor went to Vishva Kodikkara and the award for the Most Popular Teledrama was claimed by the teledrama Chaaya.

    The biggest number of awards went for the teledrama Me Vasantha Kaalayai which was directed by Christie S. Fernando which ended up as the Best Teledrama.

    Kanchana who acted in it was voted as the Best Actress while Visvajith Gunasekera won the Best Actor Award and the Supporting Actor, the Best Script-writer and Direction were all claimed by that teledrama.
