Wounded policeman gets into Gayathri's car

Policeman with gunshot injuries ...who was put into vehicle driven by Gayathri

    Popular actress Gayathri had to face an extraordinary  experience the other day. It was an incident where a crowd of people who tried to put a policeman with gunshot and bleeding into the vehicle with which she was driving.|

   This incident had happened when Gayathri was coming back home with her daughter in the night, having attended a birthday party and was driving the vehicle.

   When she was approaching somewhere near Udahamulla, she had seen a large crowd of people on the middle of the road attempting to stop passing- by vehicles and the vehicles trying to avoid them. Though she wanted to do the same thing ... because the other vehicles too were dodging the crowd themselves ... she had not done so. And she had put the shutters down and asked the people as to what was happening. Then they had pointed at a person who had fallen unconscious there and told her, "Nona... this person has been shot and is bleeding ... and is also unconscious ... please help us to take him to hospital". Gayathri had got into a shock and then they began pleading with her saying "nobody assisted in this matter ... so nona, at least you help us .... it's a great blessing if you take this person to be admitted to hospital now itself".

  Gayathri who took a decision that moment took steps to put him in the vehicle and proceeded to admit him to Kalubowila hospital.She had then gone home with the feeling and joy that she had somehow or other helped somebody. On inquiring later,however she had come to know that the person had passed away due to excessive  bleeding. She had also come to know that  the deceased individual was a police officer.
