Surendra & Muthu's Orange Story

Story of how Surendra went to Lebanon... and
plucked oranges

    It was revealed las tweek of an incident where popular Super Star and singer Surendra Perera and tele-actress Muthu Tharanga had plucked oranges in Lebanon.

   The incident had taken place when they had gone to Lebanon to attend a certain concert. Participating in a television programme, Surendra had exposed details about the incident in the following manner:
"I was just strolling outside ... it was not I who first of all who went near the room where she was staying. Muthu called me there .... asked whether I'd liked to enjoy some tea. So because it was in the morning ... I agreed. I of course am a fellow who was brought up in a reserved manner from Chilaw. When we were just wandering around we noticed an orange tree there.
"Shall we pluck some oranges?" the question was asked. So we started jumping about and tried to pluck the oranges ... and she was the first to start before me. She said "I'll pluck first". So I too said "Okay ... you break first". So I was catching the thrown oranges from below. So we started plucking the oranges. Every orange she plucked I caught from below and just had a look at them. Anyway we collected the oranges ... and on examining them we found that they were not fit to be eaten. There were worms in each and every orange that we peeled. It was because of that very reason the fruits had been just like that ... without anybody plucking them.
