Strangers at Soysa flats

Unknown people at outdoor gym of Soysa flats       
 
 The opening ceremony of the first stage of modernizing Soysapura flats at Moratuwa by Minister of Construction, Mr. Wimal Weerawansa was held on World Habitat Day with the participation of the Hon. President.

   This project is understood to have cost a sum of Rs. 300 million and all the buildings had been exquisitely painted when the Hon. President. He then declared opened the site saying, "Ah ... so beautiful!"

   Later, Mr. Wimal then escorted the Hon. President to show him the outdoor gym. On arriving there, the Hon. President what caught the eyes of the Hon. President was the sight that a group of well-built young people had been engaging continuously in physical exercises in the middle of the day without heeding the arrival of the Hon. President there.

   The Hon. President who thought the youth were from the Soysapura flats, quipped, "Ah ... these fellows have already begun the work ... haven't they?" with a smile on his face. Then Wimal had responded saying "Yes sir ... yes".

   However, it was reported that those living in the flats there had never seen these well-built young men before. Actually who are they? It was later reported that these young men who had been wearing fresh clothes had been made to come there because the Hon. President was supposed to come there and they had gone away  after the celebrations were over.
