Kotte MC member who watched blue films and tortured wife in B.D.S.M. manner ..... in remand
What was heard from MC Kotte sometime back was a story where an obscene video of an MP was leaked out. But what was heard yesterday was that a MC member's wife was subjected to abnormal sexual pressure, the person concerned was taken into custody.
The complaint was made against Danushka Viswanath, a MC member resident in Bandaranaikapura, Rajagiriya, by his wife. What she says is that her husband who had been addicted to watching blue films on a high scale for about 6 or 7 months had without her consent used to indulge in sexual relationships with her.
It is mentioned in the complaint that this person has developed a desire to engage in aggressive sexual behaviour which is known as B.D.S.M. She had mentioned that he would get a sexual satisfaction by tieing her up and then poking pieces of cloth in her mouth and subsequently indulge in abnormal sexual activity and that he would not listen to her pleas and thus continue with the act causing her immense trouble.
Sometime ago it was reported of an instance where a lawyer in Matara district had made a young girl his mistress and because of the same kind of torture she underwent, she had assaulted him and pushed him over the balcony, after which he had died.
The victim referred to earlier had further remarked that though she had tried to go to her parents by leaving her husband because of this problem which has gone beyond normal husband-wife relationships and where she was sexually tormented; she was prevented from doing so.
As she had been 'imprisoned' in the house and subjected to torture 2 or 3 times in this manner, she had escaped from the house at a time he had gone out and lodged this complaint at the Welikada police.
Accordingly, the Welikada police, as reported, had taken the Kotte MC member Mr.Danuska Viswanath into custody.
It is the view of the law that any sexual pressure which is inflicted on one's wife by force is considered as rape or sexual assault.
Court action is to be taken against the Kotte MC member.
