Emergency landing of helicopter with Ranbir

Helicopter carrying Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sherma and others .....stops unexpectedly in Dompe because of technical defect

A helicopter carrying a group of Bollywood actors and actresses who are acting in the film 'Bombay Velvet' which is being produced in Sri Lanka these days has suddenly been made to land yesterday in Dompe area when flying at a high altitude because of a possible risk that may be encountered.

This helicopter which was supposed to set out to the destination of Koggala had been supplied by the Air Force and because a technical defect was suspected in the helicopter the pilots who steered the helicopter had got alarmed and landed the helicopter on the playground of the school Devi Balika in Dompe. At this point, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sherma and other famous actors and actresses travelling in the helicopter had been subjected to a shock.

As it was not possible to determine the technical defect which occured in the helicopter which was suddenly made to land in the playground of the school, it is reported that another helicopter was provided from Colombo and the group of actors and actresses had then set off to Koggala from there around 4.30 that evening.

It was reported that the reason for this technical fault may have been the change of weather and therefore a helicopter which could face adverse weather conditions better was thus brought down from Colombo.

Shooting of this film is being carried out in a special zone in the Ranminitenna Tele Village while accomodation and many other facilities have been made available at the expense of the government. Seen below are photos of a party held a few days ago during the shooting programme of the film.
