VASU AND PAVITHRA IMPRISONED

A few days ago, on Monday last, John Seneviratna, Pavithra,    Vasudeva and some other politicians had gone with the IGP for the opening of Kiriella police  Station in Ratnapura. After the Ministers and the M.P.s officially opened the Kiriella Police Station, they had been moving around about inspecting various sections of the Station and also making use of them for the first time. The IGP then remarked, "Now like all those were opened, some dignitary come and open this too. This is a very important place".

     "The most suitable person for that is I. These are not unfamiliar things for me. I have been in these in these places enough of times .....," so saying, Vasudeva Nanayakkara opened the door of the cell and went inside and the IGP was requested to close the door. At that very moment Pavithra who was there had said, "Vasu Sir, you can't be kept all alone like that suffering in a cell .... I also will go inside". So saying, she also had gone inside and closed the door. Then, both Vasu and Pavithra were both imprisoned. Later bothof them came out of the cell after staying in the cell for sometime.
