HOW UDAYA NAMES HIS BABY

Udaya Shri Wickramasinghe who came into the limelight from the Centigrade Band became a father recently. How his cute baby was named by Udaya and his wife Vindya is somewhat strange. They say that they had planned this name from about seven or eight years ago. It is also a special feature that the baby's surname has been coined by joining the surnames of both the father and mother.

Udaya hopes to have another 11 children. This is how he told this week's Lakbima Rivira supplement about it.

*Was the name made for the baby even before Udaya and Vindya married?
Yes ... we became lovers in the year 2005. We had our wedding celebrations in 2012. At the time we were discussing matters about the future, we made 12 names; 6 for boys and 6 for girls.

*Udaya .... you're now a father. What name did you give your son?
 Dighayu Maheshakya Wickramasingha.

*Why two surnames for your son?
 I am Udaya Shri Wickramasingha and son's mother is Vindya Witharana. Because both have a right for the son, we thought of using both our names.

*Will there be any use of the rest of the names out of the one already      made?
 Yes ... we like to have more children than that. There are some practical problems. If those are solved ... then that balance 11 also will have some use.
