Nude video kept as ransom ... young girl molested
Film producer arrested

     A well-known film producer was taken into custody by Narahenpita Police yesterday on a complaint of having molested a 24 year old girl. There had been an incident prior to this of a young girl who had on her own had consented to act in a film of this producer in which case the girl had been taken to a lonely place and was undressed after which she was videod. Subsequently she had been threatened from time to time saying that the videos would be publicised and she had been forcibly molested.

    After the incident the girl had notified about this to her parents and had lodged a complained with the police. The police took the film producer into custody yesterday.

    The girl who had undergone this mishap was a 24 year old girl from Aturugiriya and who had aspired to become an up-and-coming actress.

    The producer so taken into custody over this molestation has been a popular co-producer of a number of films bringing humourous type of entertainment.

    Further investigations are being conducted by the police.
