 Chris Gayle records fastest century in world cricket

   Super batsman Chris Gayle of the West Indies team scored a century in just 30 balls creating history in world cricket in the India Premier League Cricket Tournament, thus hitting the fastest century. His knock of 100 included 11 sixes and 8 fours which is considered the fastest century not only in India Premier League cricket tournaments but in the whole world of cricket. Chris Gayle who played this innings for Royal Challengersteam recorded an individual score of 175 against Poonai Warriors  and collected 150 runs in just 53 balls. By then he had 16 sixes and 11 fours to his credit.
    At the end of the match he was 175 not out in 66 balls and his entire innings comprised of 17 sixes and 13 fours.
