After he enchases the foreign money he used to carry the cash without any security.

From behind a DefenderJeep. that had followed and two well built persons approached  Thevanesan. They had told we are from the CID, do not make any fuss , you better follow us as we have to question you
The two who approached Thevanesan had spoken very politely and he had thought that they were genuine CID personnel. The two CID officers had assaulted Thavenesan’s driver and pulled him and had dragged him into the Defender jeep The other person who pretended to be a CID officer had got into the Thevanesan’s vehicle which contained the cash had started the vehicle One other person had grabbed the money parcel and had driven forward. Thavanesan had asked where are you taking me to he asked why are you troubling me like this .Thavanesan had quipped. He had asked that person what wrong have I committed to do this to me. We are taking you to the CID to obtain a statement. The person who pretended to be a CID officer shouted. Thevanesan kept silent. The vehicle in which he came stopped near the Dematagoda flyover. The Defender Jeep also followed and stopped behind the vehicle of Thavanesan. You better get into the Defender Jeep and do not make any noise here.
If you make a fuss there would be a bigger problem Thavanesan without making any protest or fuss had got into the Defender Jeep We are sending your vehicle to the Peliyagoda Police. You better go there and collect your vehicle. At that time Thvanesan knew that they were not CID personnel. He was very frightened.
It came to his mind that will kill him which came to Thavanesan’s mind several times. But Thavansan never wanted to show the bogus CID officers that he was in fear. The defender Jeep was driven towards Borella while the person who drove Thavnesan’s vehicle drove towards Peliyagoda. They were circling the Colombo area for hours and ultimately Thavanesan was driven towards the Kotte area. They told him ‘Thamuse’ you better get down here. Your vehicle will be in the Peliyagoda area.
If you disclose this to anyone be careful. The two walked away. Those unknown people had robbed the Rs ten million and two lakhs. The complaint was received by the real CID only after a few hours. Immediately the CID commenced investigations. There was a question whether they were real CID officers or they were robbers. About this they had a doubt.
