Today being April Fools' Day, some people have begun resorting to some pranks.
Mawbima and Ceylon Today newspapers of today have announced over the first page of their newspapers that Jayalalitha, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu who is voicing her opinion very strongly these days against Sri Lanka would be arriving here today and will be addressing the public at Gale Face, subsequent to which she will be meeting politicians of the government as well as those of the Opposition and will be leaving the island today itself.
The Google Map which is popular as the Treasure Finding Machine in the internet has introduced a Treasure Map special feature and details about it has been publicised. As such, secret locations where treasures could be found in a number of places including Nuwara Eliya, Trincomalee and Batticaloa are shown by the map and could be perused. For this purpose, one has only to press the 'Treasure' button on the right side of the Google Map.
Further, the most popular website YouTube of the internet has issued an official video announcement saying that they would be closing down their website today and that they have launched a competition to choose the Best Video broadcast which has appeared within the last 8 years.
All the above reports have been focused on to provide entertainment to the public on behalf of April Fools' Day.

While Tamil Nadu is carrying on with a strong protest against Sri Lanka, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister would be coming to Sri Lanka this morning and has made arrangements to hold a meeting at Galle Face. Mrs.Jayalalitha who would be having discussions with political leaders of the government and the Opposition after the meeting, will then leave the island this evening itself.
