CID TO INVESTIGATE INTO O/L PAPER LEAK

Sampath Science tuition Sir who is a maestro on his subject had predicted and published a similar question paper and had distributed them among in students especially to his Colombo and Gampaha students.
How did this paper leak!

Yesterday 17th the Maths paper too had leaked?

Some of the questions that he predicted were highlighted with a smiling face ‘symbol’ to draw and focus the attention of the students. For a tuition ‘Master ’who is very fluent in maths and having experience about question papers in abundance should have the ability to predict what type of questions that would be in such a paper like maths. After the students who sat for the science paper on the 15th were astonished when they viewed the questions that were given in the sample paper.
There were 19 of the 40 questions that were predicted by the tuition maestro sir Sampath Attanage were in the science paper.  This maestro tuition master is a very popular among the students particularly in Colombo and Gampaha areas.
The Science 1 paper had been of a suspicious nature. When it was brought to the notice of the Commissioner of examinations .He had advised two Deputy Commissioners to probe investigations into this matter with the help of the officers of the Criminal Investigation Unit. The CID had already questioned the tuition master Sampath Attanage in this regard. He had told through his past experience, fluency and ability in the field he is in a position to predict the questions that are to be given to students.
It is pertinent to mention that 19 of the 40 questions that he predicted had appeared in the identical manner in the question paper that was released for the students. it is learnt that he had in addition given 50 probable questions to the students who study under him in the Colombo and Gampaha areas. He had marked some distinct marks like smiling faces in front of the question in order for the students draw their attention in particular.
He had predicted correctly 28 out of 40 questions that had come in the paper. There had been 4048 centres and a total number of 542,260 had sat for the exam. It is learnt that owing to this reason a large number of students had been handicapped as  some students had prepared themselves for the paper and may have definitely fared better than their counterparts. It is also learnt that in Kithulgala, Nawalapitiya and in the surrounding areas certain tuition masters too had given to their tuition students sample papers. They too have been questioned by the CID.
Appended below is a comparison of the two papers, the tuition master’s and the real paper that was given to the students at the examination hall.
