Roshan Pilapitiya initially conveyed to our Gossiplanka news web site owing to a third intrusion we had to separate. This matter has now become a subject that is debated at National level. The third party intruder was Gayan Wickrematilleke. Now it is the turn of Chathurika to air her views via the internet. Roshan had attempted to bring to light the outside factor to sling mud at Chathurika was her view. As Gayan confessed that there is no love affair with Chathurika, her version is also the same as she had quipped that she has no love affair with Gayan.
Then what had really happened and what is the truth of this story? In today’s Lakbima news paper Chathurika had explained her stand in this story which is appended below:

The love affair between Chathurika and Roshan is only a secret among those in your field. But about your separation the whole nation speaks. Is this information true?
“Yes. It is true. But the manner Roshan had interpreted in the internet in not the true story.”

Then what did really happen?
“Our association is now almost nine years. We are married for seven years. During this long period owing to differences in our opinions our relationship had fallen apart on several occasions and We again got resurrected. These most fans were unaware of. But those in the field knew about them and also that we were separated. I am now staying with my parents in their house. I had been in this field for 11 years and Roshan had been for 22 years. All in the field knew who Roshan was and who I was. Those in the field and those close to me always blessed me. However the outsiders may have had other views. Having problems within and to lead a happy life  I  cannot believe in”.

Then how about the story related by Roshan that you are friendly with Gayan Wickrematilleke and that is the reason why Roshan separated from you is correct?
“Yes, after the story of Roshan given publicity to the internet I contacted the so called third party intruder and questioned whether was it was me that caused to separate you from your family. When this matter was published in the internet i telephoned Roshan and asked whether it was me that caused Gayan’s family to separate. Then he gave a completely different answer. Then he confessed it was due to the conflicts that had in the family of the so called third party. According to our culture there is a saying not to divulge about conflicts within a family to outsiders.  Also not to bring the fires of outsiders in to our houses. I always keep the home fires in our family within the four walls of our house. According to Roshan i have had a number of third parties. Even then I never disclosed them to the public and to the media to get sympathy and kindness. I never attempted for them. In the future too I will be the same”

According to Roshan’s story the public perhaps was misled with a different type of story?
“Yes. Earlier when our relationships fell off my parents intervened and settled them. At such times the third party stories never surfaced. In our field both of us are only friends. The roles that I had portrayed and the stories spread are very negligible. However Roshan was waiting eagerly to hear of a gossip. For all these entire years what has been achieved and remained with me was only’ frustration’ .I just cannot believe that with just one ‘SMS’ such a damaging matter had been caused”.

When the personal information pf the three of you are divulged to the media how would your fans react to them.The rumours that are spread are just black marks to you all?
“With the passage of time all these would be resolved. But the conflicts we have had those at fault would have be borne by each .If Roshan had done anything wrong he will have to pay for them. It would be same to me as well. Roshan says he meditates. That is incorrect saying. If he does it I need not disclose to the internet. He had said he respects my character. His respect is needed to me. My acting together with him again I need to carefully think. But he had told that he will not hesitate to act alongside me. This incident according to him had been handled by him very carefully. My parents took me back to them before I became furious. However the slinging mud campaign against me was commenced by him. I am not angry with him.”
