“DEVA YAGA” KILLS ONE AT DEHIIATTAKANDIYA

A “Kapuwa” with his wife in the form of an Exorcist through his curing method kills one small girl and injures two others with burn injuries:

A “Kapuwa” in the form of an exorcist with his wife had in an unconscious state had been responsible for killing a young girl and two other small girls getting burn injuries. The girl had died owing to cut injuries caused to her stomach when she was forced to swallow a knife. This incident is reported from Kadirapura area in Dehiattakandiya.
The so called “Kapuwa” had conducted a “Deva Yaga” to cure a ‘devil’s deceases impact that the girl had carried. She and the other two girls were also be treated by the ‘Kapuwa”. The “Kapuwa ‘had commenced his exercise by making a large fire flame with firewood, in front of the house. To witness this event a large gathering of neighbours had come to the venue to witness this rare occasion.
This exercise had been carried out by the” kapuwa” 34 years old and his wife aged 30.The “Kapuwa” had predicted the girl to have drastic affects of “Deva Yaga”.To cure her he had sent a small sharp knife through her throat. She had died through cuts in her stomach. She had succumbed to death. The other two girls who were also suffering from “deva yaga” were thrown into the fire place causing burn injuries and had to be admitted to hospital for treatment.
The “kapuwa” and his wife had been arrested by the Police.
