MILLIONAIRE DRUG DEALER ARRESTED

The millionaire drug businessman D.M.I Perera alias “Pachcha Sanka” nabbed for transporting dugs in his ‘Prado’ vehicle:

It had been a usual practice for the Police to trap drug transporters who travel on motor bikes and three wheelers. However the Police had been able to trap a drug dealer with the help of the Special Task Force personnel, who had been transporting ‘heroine’ drug in a luxury Prado vehicle. The person so nabbed had been a millionaire businessman D.M.I Perera alias “ Pachch Sanka”, a resident of Madinnagoda, Rajagiriya, it is reported.
It is also reported that “Pachcha Sanka” had been a criminal wanted by the Police for two murders committed by him. He is a well known underworld criminal with a gang of many supporters who have been covering him during the time he moves about. On that particular day also 20 of this gang had come on motor cycles and had cordoned him to see to his safety. The Police with the help of the STF personnel were able to arrest him with the ‘heroine’ drug he had been transporting in his Prado vehicle.
The motor cyclist gang as they were helpless had vanished from the scene. The millionaire businessman had been wanted by the courts for absconding in connection for previous drug cases. The trap to arrest him had been laid very shrewdly and tactfully by the STF personnel by giving anonymous telephone calls and requesting him to come to various places .They had impersonated to be also as also drug dealers. On the 26th in this manner he had been requested to come to several places. But on suspicion he had not come. On the 27th however a STF personnel had telephoned him in the disguise of another drug dealer and had requested him to come to a certain super marker premises. The STF personnel too had come in a luxury vehicle and had got into his vehicle and had locked it up and through a radio message had requested his colleague officers to come near the vehicle. The gang of around 20 on motor cyclists has quietly vanished from the scene.
At the time of his arrest he has had in his possession 600 grams and 5 mg of ‘heroine’ drug. The suspect had confessed that he had transported the ‘heroine’ always in his Prado vehicle as the Police usually do not stop and check when he was driving in a luxury vehicle.
For further investigations the suspect “Pachcha Sanka” had been handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau and is to be produced before courts shortly.
