MARTIN CROW DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER

Diagnosed as ‘Lymphoma’ cancer and his life is in danger:

In the decade of 1990 Martin Crow was a much spoken revolutionary cricketing star in world cricket. Last week it was reported in the New Zealand’s ‘Herald’ newspaper that Martin Crow had been diagnosed to have acquired the dreaded decease ‘cancer’ and that is life is in danger. This news had made cricket fans worldwide to have got disturbed with grief.
Martin Crow is 50 years old, is the most successful batsman in New Zealand’s annals of cricketing history. He had participated in 77 Tests scoring 17 centuries and 18 half centuries. He had played in 143 One Day Internationals scoring four centuries and 24 half centuries. His highest Test score was 299, which score was against Sri Lanka.
The cancer that he has acquired is called ‘lymphoma’, which is a rare type of cancer, which is fatal. It gradually weakens one’s body until death. It is usually acquired to those over 50 years. According to doctors it affects the white blood corpuscles. As it aggravates the body is unable to resist to anything and the body becomes weaker and weaker.
Martin Crow had married three times. His wife ‘Seema’ had been a planning artiste. He had divorced her in 1986.Then he had got married to Susan Taylor in the year 1996.They have a daughter in that marriage. He had divorced her too and got married to a beauty queen in 2005. His present wife the former beauty queen is Lorraine Dowins who had been crowned as Miss Universe in the year 1983.She is a popular modeller and is a Judge in reality contests.
After retirement Martin Crow had joined the ‘Sky’ television as a cricket commentator. Later on he had given commentaries on ‘rugby’ also to the same television channel. In the year 2011 he had once more played first class cricket in New Zealand.
The cancer after it was diagnosed had been a great concern to his family members and to all cricket fans alike. The news had been widely published in the ‘Twitter’ and the ‘Face book’ web sites.
His life is obviously in danger. It s proposed to commence treatment in about two weeks from date.
