Z-score problem solved by doubling the number of students to
be taken into universities
Supreme Court ordered to admit 4928 extra students who sat
for Advanced level exam in 2011 into universities as a solution
for the injustice faced due to the Z-score confusion
This was the solution given by the Supreme Court after
considering the problem caused by the University Grants
Commission.
Due to the change that was made with the re-corrections,
many students faced injustice as the Z-score of many students
dropped down and there wasn’t any answer to them. Then the
students and the teachers had to protest for their rights.
Afterwards the Supreme Court took the final decision today.
Accordingly, this year will be a record as a year in which the
highest number of students that would be admitted into the
various universities.
