Girls are scared to walk on the streets due to the photo boys in Elpitiya

The residents of Elpitiya have been scared off due to an abnormal social occurrence in Elpitiya. This is due to an organized group of boys in bus halts. They have been using mobile phones and digital recorders to video the body parts and the faces of the women by force. It is being reported that there is a group of youth who are involved in this and they have been recording the figures of pretty young girls who comes to the bus halt.
Many girls who have wanted to complaint had been helpless and forced not to do so as there had been a group of unknown youth behind this.
It is reported that the conductors who have shown their disapproval too have been helpless due to the power of that group. Even though the parents residing in Elpitiya had already made complaints about this to the police, no body had been arrested yet.
Residents suspect that there can be a digital production racket behind these recordings.
A man who was arrested in Ratnapaura recently had confessed that it was a way for him to make an income by fixing naked bodies to girl’s faces.
