MAN’S CELL PHONE IGNITES IN HIS POCKET

Mobile phone had burst inside his pocket:

Yesterday is has been reported from Galgamuwa area that a person’s mobile phone that was in his trouser pocket had ignited inside the pocket .He had sustained injuries to his leg, hand and his trouser.
According to those who were nearby had said they had heard a noise as that of a cracker that was lit. The incident had been faced by one Upali Amerasinghe, a 51 year old person.
A few months ago we had reported a similar incident from Colombo in our web site.
