Island wide power cut period extended up to 3 hours and 20 minutes from today:The places where power cuts were uninterrupted also named:
The authorities of the Ceylon Electricity Board have been compelled to extent the periods of the power cuts. They have announced yesterday that there will be an extended power cut period and at certain places where power was not interrupted would also be subjected to the power cut with effect from today.
The period of the power cut too had been extended up to three hours and twenty minutes ( 3 Hrs/20 mts) for a day.
A press release has been issued by the Authorities of the Ceylon Electricity Board, furnishing the areas and the times the power would be interrupted. This press release is appended BELOW:
