THE JOKE OF ‘TWO WEEKS A/L’

Only 14 students had applied by sending applications via faxes in 2 weeks:

None of them had applied consequent to the Z score conflict:

After the revised Z score results were released the students were led to a huge confusion.
At that moment the Minister of Higher education ,S.B Dissanayake  made a statement to the students via the media that those who were lead to this confusion could apply for the 2012 Advanced level examination in a easy manner by forwarding new applications via faxes between the 23rd and 27th July. The media made them aware of a number of fax numbers.
It was also announced that for the first time in the history of the Advanced level examination the Department of Examinations would be allowing the students who had failed to apply for the 4th time also.
For this headache the solution was not ’changing the pillow’. It is learnt and reported that not a single student had applied for the request made by the Minister of Higher Education. It is learnt that only 14 had applied for the 2012 Advanced level examination in this manner. It has confirmed via well informed sources that none of these candidates are those who had been affected by the revised Z score conflict.
