ANAMADUWA ‘LOVE JOINT’ RAIDED

At the time the ‘love joint’ was raided two sets of boys and girls were watching
‘blue’ films,
and were half naked.

There are now places in many villages where girls and boys could go and watch ‘blue’ films for a nominal fee and at the same time fulfil their love desires to some extent.
One such incident had been reported from Anamaduwa in the Puttalam District. On the pretext of going to school two sets of boys and girls had visited a ‘love joint’ and had been watching a ‘blue film’ in the drawing room in a more or less deserted old house.
When the Police raided the two young school going couples were happily watching a ‘blue film’. They had been found to be half nude. The two couples and the owner of the house had been taken into custody.
The two female students were subjected to medical examination by admitting them to a hospital. The parents of these children were completely unaware that they were indulged in these types of activities. The Police is making further investigations into this matter.
